New vegan gelato coming to Whole Foods!

It’s called Genuto (cause it’s made with nuts GET IT) and I tried it at last weekend’s World Veg Fest and wrote about it (and an entire World Veg Fest breakdown, with awesome photography by my phone!) over at the wonderful Bay Area Bites. Go read it and learn about this delicious new vegan gelato that’s about to take over your life! It’ll be in Whole Foods and local natural grocery stores staring very soon. Like, in a month. Or less. Anyway: Learn lt, love it, live it.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Bliss Shakevegan, makes one tall shake2 scoops vanilla soy or coconut ice cream1 tbsp vegan chocolate fudge sauce2 Tbsp peanut butter, chunky1/4 cup soy milk or creamer (more decadent)soy cream whipped toppingoptional: diced banana mashed into the shake (or use a blender to puree a frozen banana)Directions: Hand mash the ice cream, soy milk, fudge and 1 Tbsp of peanut butter.  Mash until a malt-thickness forms. Then top with another scoop of peanut  butter, soy whipped cream and some extra fudge sauce if desired. Serve  with a tall spoon.
